August 27, 2022, Washington Depot, CT — Depot Dog hosted their 3rd Adoption Day Event with Spotty Dog Rescue, once again bringing dear furry friends to the Depot. It was an afternoon of smiles and hugs.
Depot Dog Hosts Movie Night at the Park!
August 5, 2022, Washington, CT — Depot Dog celebrated their 1 year anniversary by hosting “The Secret LIFE of PETS” presented by Judy Black Memorial Park and Gardens. Together the community brought chairs, blankets, food and beverages and enjoyed an evening in the park. Pets joined in as the movie rolled at dusk.
Depot Dog was at Little Guild’s Great Country Mutt Show
June 5, 2022, Lakeville, CT — Depot Dog was under the tent at Little Guild’s Great Country Mutt Show in Lime Rock Park. This Westminster-style dog competition was a free and open to the public event with categories of many kinds. It was a fun day for a great cause!
Little Guild is a 501(c)(3) organization pet rescue based in Cornwall, CT. Ranking the highest national save rates, it is dedicated to rescuing, healing and nurturing homeless dogs and cats, and to matching these animals with caring homes in the community.

Depot Dog Hosts Pet Reiki Event
December 4, 2021, Washington Depot, CT - Reiki Master Ann Moureau was in shop to teach and to give dogs the experience of the wonderful treatment of energy modality.
Reiki is effective in treating behavioral issues, healing from trauma, supporting transitions, and recovering from illness and injury. Deeply relaxing and calming, it gives the feeling of being safe and loved.

October 30, 2021, Washington Depot, CT — It was a day to meet the dogs, artists & wellness specialists, and get samples of our best supplements and treats!
Special local guests included: Janet Marlow from Pet Acoustics with benefits of sound for soothing pets, Ann Moureau Reiki master who works with animals, Watercolorist who paints amazing pet portraits.

Strutt Your Mutt!!
October 10, 2021, Washington, CT — Strutt Your Mutt to the Music of SONORO! Despite the gloomy weather, dogs of every size & breed showed up to support Greenwoods Counseling Referrals and strut to the amazing sound of SONORO. To make the day even brighter, Bev and Laura from Unlocking CT were on hand to judge the contest and crown the winners. A wonderful time was had by all!
